I have Data Source connection issues while trying to create Dataflow(Gen2) via Synapse Data Engineering using the guidelines in the link above. The import tabs (Excel, SQL, Text/CSV, dataflows) give the error message below.
"Something went wrong while loading required resources. Please try refreshing the page or come back later to try again. (APIs: connections In Scope)."
Much more, both import from Excel and Text/CSV tab generated "Unexpected error" page restricting further access to the import pages. Please see error message below.

Please advise how to resolve this issue.
I had the same error message, my main cause was that I had disabled the setting for Dataflow Gen1. Somehow, when it is disabled, no data connection works anymore:
You can only change this setting in the Admin Portal in Microsoft Fabric.
I have this exact same issue, can't use a gen2 dataflow. Error like this on every datasource.
Hi @Kenny_Coker,
Hmm, strange that it already errors out. Have you tried to access this interface via an in-private browsing session in your browser? Just to see if that makes a difference?

Hi @Kenny_Coker,
Just to double check, you tried importing that orders.csv of that lab and that failed in your Dataflow Gen2 setup?
Have you only tried the link to file option with the below file?
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/MicrosoftLearning/dp-data/main/orders.csv
You could also download that file and upload file option instead in the connection settings?
Btw, I have just tested the link to file option with this specific file and I was unable to reproduce your issue, the file should still be anonymously accessible.
Thanks @Expiscornovus
The moment i click on 'Import from Text/CSV' on the Power Query Editor , it gives the error message as seen below.
And this happened for both Import with Excel and Text/CSV file. The Import with SQL Server and Dataflow provides me with an interface to work with- just like it is in your screenshot.
But common to all the import tabs (Excel, SQL, Text/CSV, Dataflows) is the pattern of error message higlighted in red below;
But this screen appears for a split-second for Import with Excel & Text/CSV, before the previous screenshot (Unexpected error) covers the page.
