This sample report walks through two of the biggest changes you can make to your reports, to make them more widely accessible to your users.
The four key disability types which we should be considering by creating more accessible reports, include visual, hearing, motor and cognitive impairment. In this report setting up the Tab Order and Alt Text functionality assists with mobility and vision challenges for report users.
Have a go and navigate through the report for yourself by using keyboard navigation and screen reader.
A full blog post which walks through how to build in these accessibility features for yourself will be available here: https://www.discoverei.com/blog/category/Accessibility
We would love to hear feedback and your tips & tricks on how the community is building accessibility into your own Power BI reports, so we can all continue to learn together.
