Hi Team,
I need to create linked service level and Dataset level parameters in Microsoft Fabric.
Scenario:1) I have multiple Databases in one Azure SQL server and I need to move some tables from DatabaseA to Lakehouse by using pipeline1
2)I need to move some tables from DatabaseB to Lakehouse by using same pipeline(pipelin1) and need to give database name on the fly(with parameters)
Is there any way to do that. please let me know.
TIA
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can parameterize the pipeline payload including table names, however because the database name is part of the connection, it cant be parameterized in Fabric. In general, parameterization is not supported in connection.
But we are exploring to support that by allowing to parameterize the connection object itself. This is in backlog, but no ETA yet.
It will be great if you can vote on idea Parameterization support for connection to help prioritization of this need. Thank you!

Great, Thank you Grace

Sounds good, Thank You! Ajaro
