Unable to create connectors in Data Pipelines

Hello Everyone, I am trying to use Copy activity to copy data from Open API sources or from Sharepoint Online list source but I am unable to configure the connector and getting the below error,

An exception occurred: An error occurred while communicating with another service, please try again later. If this problem recurs, please contact support with this message. (Request ID: 7da93e0e-687a-40b5-981d-7d01bbb4301b)

Has someone else encountered the above error, how can I resolve this issue ?

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Hi @AdarshPanasri ,

I faced the same issue while using Data Copy Activity. Solution that worked out for me is instead of Creating Connection directly from DataCopy activity, I tried creating it from Settings->Manage Connections and Gateways , give all the required details and save the connection.

Now, once you come back to your DataCopy Activity, from Source/Destination dropdown connectors you will be able to see your connection created from settings. Just select the connection and Test it.

The above mentioned way worked out for me, if this don't work for you you can write back to Microsoft Support team.
