Is anyone else having issues with a Stored Procedure activity working one day, but then the next, or even a couple of hours later returning a can't find SP error:
Execution fail against sql server. Please contact SQL Server team if you need further support. Sql error number: 2812. Error Message: Could not find stored procedure 'MySchema.MySproc'.
I'll get this one every day, eventhough I haven't made changes to the SPROC in the DW nor the pipleline.
My "workaround" is to:
1. Open the DW within the Fabric browser UI (poke it I suppose).
2. Refresh the Stored Procedure Name in the activity (poke it more or another way?)
3. Go into Azure Data Studio and open the DW connection.
Sometime one, two, or all three of the above need to be completed so it will run again... Its all part of my superstitious workaround!
Any help or insights are appreciated.
Hello @OP,
Apologies for the delay in reply from our side. Thanks for sending the details over an email.
The internal team suggested to open a support ticket with these details:
workspace id, artifact id, activity id, work region and PipelineRunID
support ticket link: https://support.fabric.microsoft.com/en-US/support/.
Also once you have opened the support ticket , please do share the supportcase# here.
Thanks.

Hi,
I just send you an email to the above address. Note that is is from my work address, not the one associated with this account login.
Kris.
Hi @kwenzel ,
Thanks for using Fabric Community and reporting this.
Apologies for the issue you have been facing. I would like to check are you still facing this issue?
It's difficult to tell what could be the reason for this performance. I would request you to wait for sometime and try again.
If the issue still persists, can you please share your workspace id, artifact id, activity id and work region? We'd like to check if it's our issue or hit the error by design. It will be great if you can also share some details of your Stored Procedure Script along with it. Can you please confirm whether Stored Procedure is not deleted? As I understand we will get this error when Stored Procedure is not present.
You can send us this information through email to AzCommunity[at]Microsoft[dot]com with the below details,
