Hi,
I'd like to grant access to my lakehouse to a group. (I work for a big organisation and the groups are already set up).
However, when I do the following I can only grant access to indvidual people -
Right click on the three dots next to my lakehouse
Select manage permissions
Click Add User
I can search for and add people here just fine. But if I try to search for a group (e.g. we have one called 'Staff') I get a red message under the search box that says 'You can't use invalid or duplicate emails.'.
I just wondered if anyone else has been able to share a lakehouse with a group sucessfully and how did you do it?
Jay

I'm just replying to my own message in case anyone else read this and has the same problem.
I spoke to microsoft yesterday and they were very helpful. It turns out that the group I was trying to share my lakehouse with is the 'On-premises mastered' type which can't be shared, as it doesn't have an email address associated with it. I tested sharing with another group which is the 'Exchange mastered' type and this worked. (I believe the 'Microsoft 365' type of groups also work, but I've not tested this).

Hi @Jay1979
Thanks for using Fabric Community.
Can you please specify what do you mean by a group here? We can add security groups here.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
That is workspace access. It doesnt work / gives the message when you try to add it under manage permissions for the lakehouse.
