Set up for Fabric to Azure Data Factory (ADF) ingestion

Hello everyone, i'm new here.

We are working on an integration project in which we will perform ETL logics in a Fabric environment using dataflows. The target system for our integration is a Salesforce system, however i can't see a Salesforce app connector in our Fabric capacity, which resides on Power BI, and given we have an Azure Data Factory where we do have that connector what we wanted was to connect ADF to our Data Warehouse in Fabric, however, for that purpose we need to create a service principal either using an inline authentication or by credencials using a Key vault and secrets.

Since i'm new to Azure and so is our basis team, and i have not permissions to register new apps and need to instruct this to them, we would like to know:

- How to register the app in Azure. Which app should be registered, what info has to be provided. There is no specific guide on the steps to be followed when registering Fabric Warehouse in Azure (Or i couldn't find it).

- Is API access needed?

- Which permissions need to be granted?

For now it appears our infra team is able to set up our service registration with the guidance you provided - Once we set that up i'll confirm if our integration work or if i need any further details for the configuration.
