MS Fabric SAP Connector Problem

Hi all,

Background:

I am currently working on connecting a SAP BW Application Server with Microsoft Fabric  using the Dataflow Gen 2 connector as follows:

Problem:

I have observed that the connector works one time, just after it has been created. However, when I close the connector and try to use the same connector again the second time. I get the following errors:

  • Error when selecting only the Measure:

  • Error when selecting only the Dimension:

  • Error when selecting only the Measure and Dimension:

Any help with in resolving this issue would be highly appreciated.

Hi @Kartik_K ,

From your screenshot it looks like the connector should be failing to connect to the server the second time.

I think you first need to make sure that your internet connection is stable and that there are no firewalls or VPN settings blocking the connection. Secondly you also need to verify that there are no service outages or maintenance activities on the Fabric platform that could affect the connector. You can check out this document for more information: Set up your SAP BW Application Server connection - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn

Lastly I think you can actually try to reconfigure the connector, double check the connector's configuration settings and trying again might solve your current issue.
