Hello Fabric Users,
I am recieving this error while doing a semantic refresh of my power bi dataset :
I am on a pro trial and wanted to understand how can I resolve this ? The excel files are stored in Sharepoint and want to have auto refresh.

Hi @dazler5540 ,
First of all I think you can refer to this official documentation, which mentions what to do to achieve the action you need.
Manage your Fabric capacity - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn
Permission model - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn
Also you can check your Semantic model in the workspace for permissions management.

Hi @dazler5540 ,
It looks like you have encountered a dataset refresh error with an error code of 2108 and an error type of User Configuration Problem. The specific error message shows that the data ID belongs to a shared capacity.
So I think you can try these steps below:
1. Make sure you have enough permissions to access and refresh this dataset.
2. If the dataset is part of a shared capacity, it may require the administrator to adjust the configuration or permissions.
3. You can refer to this official document below, maybe it can help you: General Troubleshooting - Azure Data Factory & Azure Synapse | Microsoft Learn

Hi,
1. I have permissions to access the dataset. I can simply refresh it within PowerBI report as well
2. How can I configure the permissions for the shared capacity ?
