Can't delete files from Lakehouse using "Delete Data" Activity in Data Pipeline

I am creating a pipeline in Microsoft fabric. This pipeline will delete the data files in my Lakehouse Files Folder, but when I add the activity and open the source setting it asks me to create a connection. But there is no lakehouse option present on the connection page. Can someone help me why is this so? Why can't I delete files from my lakehouse using the delete data activity?

Apologies for the issue you are facing.
When selecting 'Workspace' as data store type, Delete data activity supports selecting a Lakehouse file/folder to delete. Currently this is identified as an UI issue where Lakehouse section is missing under Workspace data store type. The team is working on fixing the issue in upcoming releases of Fabric. Currently, we don't have any ETA when it will be available.
