Hey EveryOne,

I am having problems reading the json files in the lakehouse after passing a json through an API.

I get this error anytime i try previewing the json file. inserting code snippet is not supported on this file type.

Any help would be deeply grateful.

Sorry for not responding quickly enough. Yes, I implemented the solution and it worked for me. Thanks for sharing. By the way I am open to helping out in projects if you its available

The error message "inserting code snippet is not supported on this file type" indicates that the preview functionality in Microsoft Fabric Lakecouse doesn't allow embedding code snippets within JSON files.

• Download and View Locally: Download the JSON file from Lakecouse and open it in a text editor or JSON viewer on your local machine. These tools are specifically designed to display code and formatted data clearly.
• Preview as Text: If a dedicated JSON viewer isn't available, try previewing the file as plain text. This might not provide a formatted view, but you'll still be able to see the raw JSON content.

Following are the reasons that might be encountering issues while previewing JSON files in the Microsoft Fabric lakehouse after passing data through an API.

• Verify format settings: Make sure the format settings in your Data Pipeline's Copy Activity are correct. Ensure "JSON" is selected as the format type.
• Check for incompatible characters: Previewing might not work if the JSON file contains special characters that the previewer can't handle. You can try opening the file in a text editor to confirm if there are any non-standard characters.
• Data Pipeline configuration: If you're using a Notebook activity to transform the JSON file before saving it to the lakehouse table, double-check the code for any errors. Ensure it's properly parsing and formatting the JSON data.
