Hi @maryprincipio

MS learn provide great learning paths for Fabric:

Course DP-600T00-A: Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer - Training | Microsoft Learn

Course DP-700T00-A: Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer - Training | Microsoft Learn

If you're more of a practical learner, try the following github link for 'Fabric in a Day'. It's basically all of the MS learn labs without the reading material.

GitHub - dereknguyenio/microsoft-fabric-in-a-day: This repository hosts content related to Microsoft...

Hi @maryprincipio

@Ugk161610 has the right idea. Like anything you learn, the best way to learn it is to start doing it. Start with a project in mind, and work on completing that project. Learn what you need to learn on the way. Once you're done, start a bigger project.

If you want an overview of what all exists in Fabric, Aleksi has a good video for the DP-700 exam that covers a lot of the core data engineering content:

(572) DP-700 Exam Full Course | Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate - YouTube

If you found this helpful, consider giving some Kudos. If I answered your question or solved your problem, mark this post as the solution.

Hi @maryprincipio ,

Welcome — and don’t worry, everyone feels overwhelmed at the beginning. Fabric is a big platform, but you absolutely don’t have to learn everything at once. The easiest way to get started is to pick just one simple workflow and build confidence from there.

A good first step is to try something small, like loading a file into a Lakehouse, exploring it in a notebook, or creating a basic Power BI report from it. Once you get comfortable with one or two pieces, the rest starts to make a lot more sense. Most of us here started the same way — one small task, then another.

If you’re completely new, the “Get started with Fabric” tutorials are a nice gentle introduction, and there’s no pressure to finish everything quickly. Just take your time, experiment a bit, and ask questions whenever something doesn’t make sense. This community is very friendly, and people are happy to help.

You’re in the right place — welcome again, and enjoy the journey! 😊

Hope this helps. If so, please give a Kudos 👍 or mark as Accepted Solution ✔️
