Hi
I have a lakehouse which is schema enabled, OneLake data access enabled.
Like suggested from microsoft documentation, i haven't added user to any of the workspace roles, i have just shared the lakehouse with no additional permissions. Now i deleted the default reader role and created a new role and assigned a user to the role.
Now ideally the user should be able to see the data from lakehouse view, but it throws the below error
We also did, multiple retries and also have tried back after almost 8 hours considering any latency.
But it gave the same error.
In contrary, if im giving user viewer access to workspace, and then use onelake data access to restrict tables view, hes then able to view the data.
If not for viewer role, user is not able to see the data in lakehouse view, but hes able to read the data using notebooks for only those tables given access to.
And also if i try the user tries to read data using notebooks it throws the error, if given viewer role it executes successfully.
Any suggestions or recommendations on how to deal with is much appreciated! Thanks.

Hi @Bhargava05 ,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community.
It appears that the OneLake Data Access feature is not functioning correctly for schema-enabled Lakehouses. I have tested this on my end and encountered the same issue. However, when using a Lakehouse without schema enabled, the feature works as expected.
Since both the features (Lakehouse with schema enabled and Onelake Data Access feature) are currently in preview, this behavior may be a limitation of the preview phase.
