Missing Add Data Destination on DataFlow Gen2

Why I dont have the option available to Add Data Destionation on DataFlow Gen2?

Have you created and highlighted a query first?

I think you need to select a query before you get the option to create a data destination for that query.

Hello all.

Indeed, I was facing the same issue, the "add data destination" option was not enabled... 😞 However, I could kept reading and I noticed that it mentions what has been explained here.

If the data destination is already there, the option will be disabled.

If I remove the existing destination, then the option with the drop-down menu becomes enabled !

All is clear now.

Thanks for using Microsoft Fabric Community.

In addition to @frithjof_v , When you create a Dataflow Gen2 directly you will explicitly need to choose a data destination for your queries. However, if you create a Dataflow Gen2 and the destination is configured then you won't see the "Add Data Destination" option because it's already set. For reference please find the screenshots.

Before configuring data destination: Add data destination option is availbale.

After configuring the data destination: Add data destination option is greyed out.

Could you please recheck once whether the data destination is configured?
