Azure sql Mirror Database in fabric Update event

is it possible to trigger pipelines/notebook automatically in fabric when the mirror db updates? I'm looking for some kind of trigger that will help me with this job? Could some please help?

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft fabric community forum.

 

At present, Microsoft Fabric does not offer native support for automatic triggers based on mirrored database updates. Its event-driven features, such as Data Activator and event triggers, are intended to react to file-level changes in OneLake or Azure Blob Storage, rather than database-level changes from mirroring.

There are a few alternative approaches you can consider:

  • Utilize Power Automate or other monitoring tools to detect updates in the Azure SQL Database and then trigger Fabric pipelines or notebooks using REST APIs.
  • Set up pipelines with incremental logic to handle new data on a scheduled basis.
