Hello,

I am looking for urgent help.

I have table that looks like below , Table name is -  Difference

gaikwadaa123_0-1633614126779.png

I want to calculate the difference by row from hour 0 to 23 for each date and each MeasurementName .

example: one measurement name has two dates, each date has hour 0 to 23 and I would like to calculate the diffrence bewteen hour 0 to 1, 1 to 2 so on where hour 0 will have diffrence always 0. Like wise for each measurement name.

currently i have below dax

diff = var diff = 'Difference'[Value]-
CALCULATE(SUM('Difference'[Value]),
FILTER('Difference',
'Difference'[Hr2]=EARLIER('Difference'[Hour])
)
)
return

if (diff=VALUE('Difference'[Value]),
0,
diff
)

which helps only for one day and one MeasurementName, if i try to use multiple dates and multiple measurementName it gives wrong result.

Please help me this is uregent and help with by using my column names.

Thank you.

@gaikwadaa123 , Create a new column

diff =
var _1 = CALCULATE(SUM('Difference'[Value]),
FILTER('Difference',
'Difference'[Hr2] = EARLIER('Difference'[Hour])-1 && 'Difference'[Date]=EARLIER('Difference'[Date])
)
return
if ( isblank(_1)
0,
'Difference'[Value] - _1
)

Thank you for your response. I get below errors. can you help?
