custom column for DirectQuery report

Hello, I created report using import data option and made this custom column. This column works in import version of report but now I need to create it in the DirectQuery version of the report and when I try to use same formula I get message that SUM function is not supported in DirectQuery model.  Is there a way to create column that would produce same results. For the record this column is being used in slicer visual to filter table that has conditional formating. Thank you.slicer column.png

Anyone know how this function can be used in Measure to archieve slicer capabilities or modified so it would still be available to with slicer visual?

You cannot create columns in Direct Query reports, you can only create measures.

I created new columns for other functions using switch DAX function or date diff functions and didnt get any problems.
