calculating cummolative QTY (of countdistinct) orders for every year

Hi

I have a data set that has Purchse orders numbers, i wish to countdistinct, cummaltaive QTY for every year by date.

so i will be able to produce line chart for every year, wehn the X- axis is months( jabuary, February,March....,December)

the lines shuould display cummaltive QTy by month to month for each year.

i have a dim_date table to use.

Hi,

it close to what i want, but i wish to count every year separatly.

i want to calculate for  2017 from 01/01/2017 - 31/12/2017

and afterward to calculate  2018 for the same period and that it will start the count from 0 and not continue the count of 2017.
