Hi,
I want to used Dax to calculate the sum of one column (The 'quantity delivered' for a various items) in one table (Material Delivered Report) based on filtering the data in two columns (Category & Items*) in another table (Material Types).
My issue is with the *Items - There are 5 different values but i want to be able to exclude 1 but include the other 4.
Hopefully this visualise by issue, i want the filter to reflect the selection of the cells in yellow below:
I have tried creating a meausre using the Calculate/Sum/Filters but I cannot seem to make this work.
Hopefully someone can provide some assistance, thanks in advance

Hi @Mib071 ,
Based on your description I created these data.
1. created the calculation table to get the Cartesian product of all the rows in the original table.
Table2 =
CROSSJOIN(
VALUES('Table'[Category]),
VALUES('Table'[Items])
)
2. Use the new table as a field for the visual object in the report.
If your Current Period does not refer to this, please clarify in a follow-up reply.

@Mib071 Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882

The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
