I have a table with a columb of codes and another table that correlates each of these codes with a description of what it means. Currently I have a bargraph from that first table that displays the amount of entries with that code but instead of the code, I want it to use the translation of what that code means (which is in that second table). Is this something I can do with DAX?

You need to have the codes of the Table1 in Table2 as well, then, create a calculated column in Table 1 using the LOOKUPVALUE function (LOOKUPVALUE function (DAX) - DAX | Microsoft Learn . This way you will be able to use the new column on the X Axis.

@Fowmy I used this DAX formula: LOOKUPVALUE(My First Table Description, First Table Code, Second Table Code), but it gave me an error stating "A table of multiple values was supplied where a single value was expected". Do you know why this might be or if this is the wrong espression, how you would have done it?
