Total sales for 2 date table

Hello all

I'm trying build a visual where i can see the total sales for each selected period.
Total Sales (date1) = SUM (Sales)
Total Sales (date2 = CALCULATE ([Total Sales], USERELATIONSHIP( Date2[date], Sales[Date]))
Do you need to use also REMOVEFILTERS or KEEPFILTERS in each measure for the other date table?
I've tried and it's not working and don't know how to try those.

Can you help?
Thanks a lot
