Hi Everyone,
I have a dataset which provides insights about the viewership. I trying to find the viewrship changes in percentage when compared to previous week to the selected week. My date column is in DD/MM/YYY format and I am using the timeline filter.
So I am trying to find a way so that whenever my user selects any week, there should be a card which gives the % change in viewership
Any suggestions/approach for this problem is highly appreciated.
Cheers,
Praj
Add a week commencing column to your date table and then you could use something like
Week on week change =
VAR CurrentWeekStart =
SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Date'[W/C] )
VAR CurrentValue = [viewers]
VAR PrevValue =
CALCULATE (
[viewers],
REMOVEFILTERS ( 'Date' ),
'Date'[W/C] = CurrentWeekStart - 7
)
VAR Result =
DIVIDE ( CurrentValue - PrevValue, PrevValue )
RETURN
Result
