Times series with year to date totals, cut off at certain peak

I have a time series chart with a year to date cumulative/running total. How do I level off the line at a certain peak number once it has been reached?

@JediCB , The information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me. Can you please explain with an example.

Assume you created YTD with help from date table

//measures like

YTD= TOTALYTD(SUM(Table[Value]), Date[Date])

Peak Month = Maxx(Values(Date[Month Year Sort]), [YTD] ) //Assume there are negative otherwise, last month will be max

Cut at Max

New Measure = if(Max(Date[Month Year Sort]) > [Peak Month], blank(), [YTD])
