Time Frame

Hi,

I have column which includes timeframe of 30 minutes for a day (Example: 00:00:00, 00:30:00, 01:00:00, 01:30:00.... till 23:30:00). I have created a Line and clustered column chart, the timeframe is in the X-Axis and I need the timeframe only from 08:00 to 20:00, So basically I need timeslice of the timeframe which I have. Any solution would be of great help. Thanks.

Kind Regards,

Omkar

You can use the following steps:

  1. Create a new calculated column to mark the rows that fall within the desired timeframe.

  2. Filter the visual by the use of new column

1. Creating the calculated column:

IsWithinTimeframe = IF(HOUR([TimeColumn]) >= 8 && HOUR([TimeColumn]) < 20,1,0)

2. Filtering the data:

  • Go to the "Filters" pane.
  • Drag the new IsWithinTimeframe column to the "Filters on this visual" area.
  • Set the filter to only include rows where IsWithinTimeframe is 1.
