If you want to have a column with User Type, just model your data to facilitate this. Add a column with the number you need (transforming the Sale ID column) in order to create User Type. It's very easy and best done in Power Query, not DAX. Data in columns should always be atomic, which means it should be indivisible from the point of view of the problem you model. Thus, you should add a new column derived from Sale ID so that it's easy to create User Type based on it.

Create the Measure: Number Sale ID = DISTINCTCOUNT(Sale ID)
And then the 2nd Measure:
