Take MAXDate from slicer date between

Hi,

I am working with an AAS model in PowerBI and I would like to do the following:

Astrid_MvB73_0-1633900009010.png

I have a date slicer based on dates between.

The graph on the right reflects numbers for the period based on the dates between selected in the slicer. So this one is fine.

But the left matrix should only reflect numbers per month and this should always be the max month that is selected in the slicer.

What is the Dax formula that I could use the show the max month data in the matrix on the left?

Many thanks in avance for your help.

Regards,

Astrid

Hi @Astrid_M-vB73 ,

Have you tried to add a visual filter on the left matrix like below?

What a brilliant solution!

I was so focused on the fact that I thought this could only be solved with a DAX formula, that I forgot there are other ways to filter the data. Great!

Many thanks for your help.

Astrid

Hi @Astrid_M-vB73

You need to create a measure and use MAX and FILTER.

Can you share a sample of your data in a table format?

Appreciate your Kudos!!

Thank you for your quick reply!

I have tried to clarify my issue by creating this picture.

Hope this helps.
