Summarize error The expression refers to multiple columns. Multiple columns cannot be converted.....

Hey guys,

I'm trying to summarize the Average from a coulmn grouped by state , but keep getting this error
"The expression refers to multiple columns. Multiple columns cannot be converted to a scalar value."

Here's a SC of the tables as well.

Any idea ??

Y = AVERAGEX('Customer List', SUMMARIZE('Customer List','Customer List'[State],"y",.....)
What do I put in for the Expression argument of the summarize formula ??
If I put average it pops with the same error

Y = AVERAGEX('Customer List', SUMMARIZE('Customer List','Customer List'[State],"y",SUM('Customer List[Last 6 Months Purchase]),[y])
