Sum value based on selected month
I'm trying to create an Energy Market dashboard. I have monthly data on energy consumption starting 2016 till 'reference month'. And then, I have forecasted the value for the next five years (month-wise). This 'reference month' is based on the data pulled from a website (all the calculations will be with respect to this month).
the data looks like this:
And the reference month is available in another table (Latest HGM data):
I need to create a dashboard that looks like this"
But instead of Sum of Generation, I need generation value from this 'reference month'. And from there build MOM, YTD, etc kind of calculation.
My question is, how do I put into filter this 'reference date' while creating dashboard?
