Dear Community
I have a dataset example as below:
Date | Outlet Name | Brand | Value |
202201 | O1 | B1 | 10 |
202204 | O1 | B2 | 0 |
202202 | O2 | B2 | 2
|
202203 | O2 | B3 | 0 |
202211 | O2 | B1 | 9 |
202204 | O3 | B3 | 5 |
202208 | O5 | B1 | 0 |
202206 | O6 | B2 | 6 |
The dataset is for sales across different outlets for my brand (B1) and a 2 competitor brands (B2 & B3)
My brand | Competing Brand |
B1 | B2 |
B1 | B3 |
B1 | B1 |
I built a simple matrix visual using this measure and the column - competing brand above:
which correctly turned out like this:
but I am currently struggling with my final step to prioritise the outlets, those with B1 as "No" and other brands as "Yes" to be priority 1 otherwise priority 2. That should be in a slicer so we reduce the outlet list to ones we want to visit.
I hope someone can be able to assist. Thank you community.
Hi @Anonymous ,
What's your expected result? Do you want to get one calculated column to display "priority 1" and "priority 2" and apply it on the slicer? What's the function of the slicer? When select "priority 1", it will display all info for the outlet O3 base on your provided data? Could you please provide more details(special examples, screenshots etc.) to explain your expected result? Thank you.
Your expected result???
Best Regards
