Show the many Dates on a fact Table

Hi Guys,

I Have a Fact table that has 7 dates and I have 7 relationships between my Date dimension and my Fact table.

I need to show in a table the seven dates and i want to use the date dimensions field, is there any solution to solve this without create 7 date distinct date dimensions.

If you have only one Date table, then you CANNOT put different types of dates coming from the same table in a visual. In this case you HAVE TO use different time dimensions created from the same underlying Date table, the so-called role-playing date dimension.

When you have only one Date table that has 7 relationships to the fact table (one being active, the rest inactive), what you can do is to select a range of dates and then create 7 different measures (this way or other) that you can drop on the visual. This way you'll show 7 different measures for the same period of time. This procedure will not let you have different time periods active for different types of dates. One date table for each type of date is a necessity in this case.

Sorry but there's no workaround.
