Show negative numbers in brackets and keep the value type

Hello Experts,

As far as I know, I can use FORMAT function to show the negative numbers in brackets, but this function converts the value to text, thus I'm not able to appear the result with the charts such as Bar chart, column chart, and gauge char, etc.

So, Is there any way to show the negative numbers in brackets and keep the value type to be decimal?
