SUMMARIZECOLUMNS with Ignore section

Dear Power BI Representative,

I was reviewing the SUMMARIZECOLUMNS function and in the with Ignore section https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dax/summarizecolumns-function-dax it indicated the usage of IGNORE results in the removal of blank values however when I run the query with the IGNORE function it allows for SUMMARIZECOLUMNS to keep the blank values.  Is this an error with the guide or an error with DAX studio?  Please advise.

"Even though both expressions return blank for some rows, they're included since there are no unignored expressions which return blank."
