Hi all,
I am kind of new to power bi and I've been able to google/youtube my way through most of what I need (calculating Average Daily, Running Totals, Forecasting, etc.).
The question I have is if there is an easy way for me to SUM "rows independently" so that when I remove such a row instead of recalculating it just add whichever row total I previously had.
- I have a table with "ITEM 1" and "ITEM 2" all the values are measures:
- When I remove the row "ITEM" it recalculates:
- What I need instead is for PB to add the "ITEMs" totals:
I hope I explained my issue correctly and I appreciate any help I can get.

This looks like a measure totals problem. Very common. See my post about it here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/DAX-Commands-and-Tips/Dealing-with-Measure-Totals/td-p/63376
Also, this Quick Measure, Measure Totals, The Final Word should get you what you need:
