Not sure why this is giving me fits but have stared at it long enough and need input. Simply trying to build a measure that determines if the endDate of a record is after the value selected in the Start of Month slicer. The slicer is based on a disconnected date table and just to test was trying to return the value of the slicer in my visual. But its not finding a value so returning the default date of today. What am I missing ???

Hi @lhall37122 ,
Based on the description, the error is that the measure DAX formula is not detecting the date selected by the slicer.
So, check that drag the start of month column to the slicer visual and check if a filter is applied.
Besides, creating a new blank report and copy the table data to the new report. Then, drag the start of month to the slicer visual in the new report.

Hi @lhall37122 ,
Based on the description, try to check the start of month column in the slicer visual and verify the start of month column date type.
The DAX formula should display the slicer's date correctly.

Thanks for the reply I can confirm that my "Start Of Month" is set as a DATE data type and looking at your sample .pbix file I can find any difference in my test measure vs yous so completely at a loss why the slicer value will not show correctly.
