Hi Experts,
I know If statment return only scalar value. But can we get the value from column in dataset when true or false in if statement.
I want to achieve this only by calculated measure and not a calculated column
I have a table below:
Region | Manager | ID | Old Dep name | New Dep Name |
North | Ram | 0 | RRR | GGG |
East | sat | 0 | RRR | GGG |
west | mag | 1 | Rom | Rom |
south | Mit | 2 | Cas | Cas |
south | Mit | 3 | Gon | Gon |
North | Ram | 4 | Hen | Hen |
Calculated measure = if(sum(id)>0,old dept name, new dept name)
Expected output in table:
Region | Manger | Dep Name(using if measure) |
North | Ram | RRR |
East | Sat | RRR |
West | mag | Rom |
South | Mit | Cas |
Solved! Go to Solution.
Something like this
If(Calculate(SUM(Table[ID]),ALLEXCEPT(Table,Table[Region])>0,MAX(Table[olddepname]),MAX(Table[newddepname]))
Something like this
If(Calculate(SUM(Table[ID]),ALLEXCEPT(Table,Table[Region])>0,MAX(Table[olddepname]),MAX(Table[newddepname]))
