Reference instances within a table

Cert 1 = IF('Submitted Certs'[Cert] = "Cert 1", DISTINCTCOUNT('Submitted Certs'[Cert]))

I want to calculate all the instances in which "Cert 1" occurs, i keep getting the wrong number, any help?

Hi @3cdoug ,

 I think you can add filter in your code.

Count =
CALCULATE (
    DISTINCTCOUNT ( 'Submitted Certs'[Cert] ),
    FILTER ( 'Submitted Certs', 'Submitted Certs'[Cert] = "Cert 1" )
)
