Real Totals

Hello everyone!
I am having some trouble calculating the sum total of a calculated measure in a table.

I need to do this action:

abs diff.png (the absolute difference between baseline and historic column)

And then, sum out the total calculated column:

excel measure.png

The result has to be 44,308.55

But in power BI, it calculates the absolute difference between the total sums of the columns.

Hope someone can help me!!!

@Anonymous , Try like

New Abs Difference= SUMX(summarize(Table,Table[Origin Site],,Table[destination Site],"_1", [Abs Difference]).[_1])

Please try using SUMX to get the correct total.  It references your existing measure but should give you the correct result both in your rows and your total.

NewMeasure = SUMX(VALUES(Table[Origin Site]), [Abs Difference])

If this works for you, please mark it as the solution.  Kudos are appreciated too.  Please let me know if not.

Regards,

Pat
