Rank products based on measure in another table

Hi all,

I would like to rank the column 'Product'[ParentProductCode] based on a measure from another table 'Volume Received From Vendor'[Volume Received From Vendor Actual HL]. The data is retrieved from a live connection with anOLAP cube so I cannot use the query editor. I cannot manage to get it to work in a measure using DAX. Below the DAX statement which I tried however it only returns rank 1 for all products.

Rank = RANKX('Product';'Volume Received From Vendor'[Volume Received From Vendor Actual HL])

Anyone who knows how to make it work?

Kind regards,

Lars

Hi @Nijlal01

if your tables have relationships you can try

Rank = RANKX(ALL('Product');'Volume Received From Vendor'[Volume Received From Vendor Actual HL])

it also depends on your measure statement
