I am using a ragged hierarchy in my model.
I have flatten this table and managed to set the measure to BLANK() in case hierachy levels have no label.
The issue however is when I add new columns to this matrix. They will not be shown because the node of the ragged hierarchy is hidden.
Current outcome
Expected outcome (without empty levels)
In this example we used the customer type, but an end user can select many options in this case.
So we do not know upfront which additional column(s) will be selected.
I hope any one of you can help?
Hi @eviverschueren,
If you would like to hide empty hierarchies in the middle of the first hierarchy and the last level hierarchy, which not supported and I can’t provide a workaround for it currently. You may vote for similar idea in Power BI Ideas: https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/search-ideas/?q=hide%20blank%20hierarchy. It’s a place where the product group collects the suggestions from users to improve this product.
If there is any post helps, then please consider Accept it as the solution to help the other members find it more quickly. If I misunderstand your needs or you still have problems on it, please let me know how your tables look like, the relationships you create for them and how you create these two count measures. Thanks a lot!
