Previous year, Previous to previous year

Hi Experts

I've a requirement to provide measures for -

Sum of Sales Volume - Current Year

Sum of Sales Volume - Previous Year

Sum of Sales Volume - Previous to Previous Year

The first 2 I am able to replicate from what is provided on this forum using SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR and other tricks.

How do I get the last one. tried doing DATEADD(Month,-24,CalendarDate) but that does not show values if there is no actuals this year.

Any help is much appreciated.

Cheers

@Anonymous , with help from date table, marked as date table. example

Year behind Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Year))
Year behind Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR('Date'[Date]))

2 Year behind Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),dateadd('Date'[Date],-2,Year))
2 Year behind Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,Year)))

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :radacad sqlbi My Video Series Appreciate your Kudos.
