I'm trying to calculate the SUM(Sales) for the previous fiscal year without using a filter to specify the starting point
for reference here's my measure
Measure = Calculate(SUM('Table1'[Sales]) , YEAR('Table2'[Date]) = YEAR(Today()) - 1)
This measure works but the problem is it returns only the year and not fiscal year so when it does the subtraction from 'TODAY()'
our current year is '2022' but in Fiscal Years it's '2023' so therefore it doesnt actually return the value im expecting.
If you could please suggest a way to do this without having to use filters as it has to be 'Hardcoded' but change dynamically as we move forwards in dates.
Hi @Euro0681
You can just subtract the number of days difference between the calendar year and the fiscal year from both 'Table2'[Date] and TODAY ( )
