Performance issue with "summarize" and suggestion for query optimization

I am having a performance issue (slow) with my report, and I think it is maily due to using a lot of Summarize (and Sumx).

I researched little bit, and I found a suggestion to use "selectedcolumns" instead of "summarize".

Bottom is original measure which does not show any error:

I am trying to change to "selectedcolumns" now.

How do I go about fixing this error?

Also, is there any other place like here I could modify to make the report go little faster?

Thanks.

can this feed back the same result as yours?

=calculate(distinctcount(table1[clientid]),table1[step]=1)

@wdx223_Daniel Thank you for your help. I am getting same results now. I need to verify closer on each row of outcome.
