Percentage of grand total changes to 100% instead of the right value

Hi all,

I'm trying to visualise the percentage of advice summeries of the total of closed insurance cases. The number is right, but everytime I try to change it to a percentage, it keeps saying it's 100% while it should be 93,57%. Does anyone knows how to fix this?

What did I do?:

- I made a measure that sums up the total of summaries and named it 'TotalAdvicedSummaries' and a measure that sums up the total closed cases and named it 'TotalClosedCases'.

- Then I made a measure for the PercentageOfSummaries, withe formula:

PercentageAdviceSummaries = DIVIDE([TotalAdvicedSummaries],[TotalClosedCases])*100
- I made a measure to set the target value on 85.
- I made a gauge to display the percentage, but it kept saying the total is 93,57 of 187,13 instead of 100. So I made another measure for the minimum of 0 and the maximum of 100.

- When I try to display the 93,57 as 93,57 it gives 100%:

- I made the measure "Test". To fill in the formula again and create a card visual. I thought of putting a card on top of it and group it as one, but when try to set the card value as a percentage it also gives 100%.

Your help is much appreciated!

Vincent.

Hi @VincentLuteijn

Try setting the maximum and minimum values of the Gauge visual in the visual format interface.

Thanks for your help Jayleny! I've changed the maximum and minimal values to 0 and 100.

I want to display this Gauge as a percentage. When I change the measure to 'Display as a percentage' the Gauge visual still isn't right. Also not when I change the min. and max. in the visual format interfase to 0 and 1 and set value measure to PercentageAdviceSummaries = DIVIDE([TotalAdvicedSummaries],[TotalClosedCases]).

Do you have any idea how to fix this?

Thanks in advance!

Vincent.
