Path error

Not sure why Path function works well when the column values are numbers but does not work when the column values are text. Could you please help me with this?

Hi,

I assume the first table with blank has a value (blank-value) in column2, while the second table column2 blank shows null value.

Please try changing the blank-value like below in power query editor and then I believe you can see the expected result.

@Jihwan_Kim Thank you for the solution. It worked well with the dataset I attached above. However, when I replace the empty value with null in the actual (large) dataset, it does not replace the value...

When I leave the query editor, the data does not change while the view shows it is replacerd with null as you see above.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

Thank you for your message, and please share your sample pbix file's link (onedrive link, dropbox link, or others), and then I can try to look into it.

Thank you.
