Openingbalanceyear

Hi everyone,

I have a complex formula that calculates specific values for me. One one line of this formula something goes wrong.

The line:

OPENINGBALANCEYEARCALCULATESUM( [VALUE] ) , [DIMENSION]="LY") , 'Calendar'[Date])

This return the closing balance of 31-12 but I need the ballance at 1-1. I know there is a option to define the date within the formule but on this form and other pages I could not find how.

@Endurion ,Yes it works like that.

Try

calculate(firstnonblankvalue(Calendar[Date], CALCULATE( SUM( [VALUE] ) )), allexcept(Calendar, Calendar[Year]))
