Multiple Running Totals

Hi folks, hopefulyl someone can point me int he right direction. Between being new to DAX and suffering from a horrible case of the "Fridays", I'm struggling to get my head around this.

I have a data set which is "product", "issue", "date opened", "date closed" What I'm trying to do is create a running total of open and closed each day, ideally segmented by product, so that I can graph it for the people who don't like numbers.

I figure I need a seperate date table and then somethign to generate the running totals, but I'm totally stumped about how to do this!

Any help at all would be great.

Thanks,

Paul.

Hi,

You could try using Summarizecolumns for this Requirement. Create a New Table by choosing it under Modelling and enter the below DAX Code. I assume your table to be named TableA

Issue_Status_Count:= SUMMARIZECOLUMNS(TableA[Open_Date], "Open_Count",COUNT(TableA[Open_Date]),"Closed_Count",COUNT(TableA[Closed_Date])
