Measure to calculate total sales in the month

I want to create a measure that returns the total sales for that month. If there is no month in the context, I want it to return the total sales.

 

My measure is something like this:

 

total sales only month = CALCULATE(SUM(scanner_data[Sales_Amount]), FILTER(all(scanner_data), ALLEXCEPT('calendar', 'calendar'[Date])))
 
But is not working.
