Measure not showing values, but summarizes correctly

Hi,

I am quite new to Power BI. I want to be able to present this years sales figures compared to last years, and have been following a couple of youtube videos. However, when I make the exact same measures, the values are not properly showing up for me. For example:

It summarizes correctly, but the values are not showing up in the field. My measure that I have been using is the following:

Total Sales LY = CALCULATE(SUM(Orders[Sales]); Dateadd('Orders'[Order Date];-1;YEAR))

Does anyone know how I should proceed? Any help would be highly appreciated as I've been stuck on this problem for far too long now. Thanks!

@Anonymous , In case you should use Date table

Total Sales LY = CALCULATE(SUM(Orders[Sales]); Dateadd('Date'[Date];-1;YEAR))

or

MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD('Date'[Date]))

last year MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-12,MONTH)))
last year MTD (complete) Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(ENDOFMONTH(dateadd('Date'[Date],-12,MONTH))))

To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :
