I want to calculate the rate = division (Total Processing, connected time)
The result is wrong, how to do?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @Hendd,
The DIVIDE function performs safe division and can return an alternate result or a null value when divided by zero. Its syntax format is DIVIDE ( <numerator>, <denominator>, [<alternate result>] ).
Here are my steps you can follow:
(1)This is my test data.
(2)We can create a measure: “rate”.
rate = DIVIDE( SUM('Table'[Total Processing] ),SUM('Table'[connected time]) , "error")
(3)Then the result is as follows.
Can you give me some sample data and your expected results so that I can better help you solve your problem?
Best Regards,
Neeko Tang

@Anonymous , Very little inofrmation
It should be, Assumed both are columns
Divide(Sum(Table[Total Processing]), sum(Table[connected time]) )
If this does not help
Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
