Looking for way to filter based on related field to selected value

Hello everyone,

I have a need to be able to select a single ticket number and then filter other visuals/values based on a related field to that ticket number. For example:

nghtwlker17_0-1596734859186.png

In the above I have selected ticket 693379, which has a value of application error. I want a count of all application error's in the bottom box based on selecting the ticket number.

I've tried this calculation with no luck, and tried some variations of values with no luck.

mSelected subtype disCount SR = CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT(v_rpt_Service_Summary[SR_Service_RecID]), FILTER(ALL(v_rpt_Service_Summary), SELECTEDVALUE(v_rpt_Service_Summary[ServiceSubType])))

Please let me know if I can help with any additional info, thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Regards,

Seth Calkins

Thanks Greg, a more in depth search did turn up a related post that provided the solution.
